The second General Assembly & Executive Board Meeting was held at the University of Barcelona. Partners were reporting on the work done so far, discussing MiCreate digital storytelling application, participant observations in classrooms and art-based approach asa tool to stimulate the discussion with migrant children.
Zorana Medarić, Barbara Gornik, Mateja Sedmak (Science and Research Centre Koper), Vlasta Jalušič and Veronika Bajt (Peace Institute) attended Annual meeting of the Slovenian Sociological Association, where they presented papers Potenciali otrokosrediščnega pristopa pri preučevanju integracije otrok priseljencev and EU in politike integracije migrantskih otrok: kaj se reprezentira kot problem?
Mateja Sedmak, Barbara Gornik and Zorana Medarić attended the international conference Societies and spaces in contact: Between convergence and divergence, where they presented the paper Potentials of a child-centred approach to the integration of migrant children
Third Executive Board meeting was held at University of Hamburg. Representatives of Executive Board were discussing MiCreate Methodological Protocol: Fieldwork in Schools. The main focus of discussion was the participatory observation methodology as the first field work activity started in September 2019.
